Saturday at Randwick is shaping up to be a fantastic day of racing. Here are some of the horses to look at in each race, outside of the horses we’ve already talked about.
Race 1 – Mazita didn’t perform as expected in his last appearance, finishing sixth. However, it’s worth noting that he had some challenges during the race.
The four-year-old son of Merchant Navy appeared to be in great form when he won at Muswellbrook and Gosford.
Race 2 – Fire might use a little boost in confidence after a few challenging runs, but he definitely has the ability to outperform the competition if everything goes well for him.
The son of Fastnet Rock, who has been trained by Hawkes, has had a successful career so far with three victories and four placings from 14 races. It is definitely a positive advantage to have James McDonald as the rider.
Race 3 – Our Kobison finished the previous season with back-to-back victories, which is a positive sign at the Midway level.
The four-year-old gelding by Kobayashi has been quite successful, with three victories from five starts. This gives him a clear advantage over the other horses in the race.
Race 4 – Terra Mater has consistently performed well in all 10 of their outings, with an impressive record of four victories and six placings. They have never finished worse than third, which is a testament to their strong performance.
The amazing four-year-old mare triumphed at Randwick in her previous race, and it comes as no surprise that bookies have given her low odds.
Race 5 – Running By really impressed with her performance at Caulfield in her last race, and we believe she has a good chance of winning again.
The four-year-old daughter of Impending triumphed at odds of $1.70, which means investors should expect improved odds this time.
Race 6 – Matusalem has already a two-time victor, making him a colt worth keeping an eye on!
The three-year-old horse by The Autumn Sun hasn’t quite found his stride in his two races at Randwick, but he showed promise in his most recent race.
Race 7 – Hellsing is all set to make his Australian debut for Annabel Neasham following a successful trial at Warwick Farm. Exciting times ahead!
The four-year-old son of Dandy Man shown great potential in Ireland, achieving two victories and two top finishes out of five races.
Race 8 – Legio Ten made an excellent start at Rosehill, scoring right off the bat. Now, he has been given a well-deserved break and has been re-energized with a trial run.
The Cummings-trained son of Exosphere is incredibly talented, and his impressive record of four victories and five placings is a promising sign for the future.
Race 9 – Kapakiri is on a hot streak, aiming for four victories in a row after a recent turnaround in form. After 13 starts, he finally got on the board, and since then, he has been unstoppable!
The four-year-old son of Kermadec had a great win at Randwick in his last race, and his familiarity with the course gives him a good advantage for his next races.
Race 10 – Boston Rocks has had a great start to his career, winning three times and placing once in five outings.
The three-year-old son of Hellbent put on a fantastic performance and emerged victorious at Randwick in his previous race. This is a great indication of his abilities and a promising sign for future races.
