Week 13 was simply a week to forget! Every seasoned punter knows you have one of those weeks from time to time when nothing goes right, and last week was certainly ours. Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait to put things right!
Dragons vs Tigers by Dean McHugh
Week 14 begins on Friday night when the Dragons host the Tigers in Wollongong, with both teams hoping to pick up the win to kickstart a run at the playoffs. The Dragons will be encouraged by a fantastic display last time out against the Premiers. Granted, the Panthers had many key players missing due to being away on Origin duty, but St. George won’t care about that. It was their second win in three, and they will be confident of making it three wins from four against the Tigers, who have lost eight straight.
Unfortunately for Tigers fans it’s hard to make a case for them right now. Three of their last four defeats have come against sides outside the playoff places, so their form is probably worse than it looks on paper (if that’s possible). History isn’t on their side either as they have lost five of their last six meetings with St. George, which includes the last three.
