Melbourne v Fremantle Preview, TIO Stadium
The yearly trip to Alice Springs for the Demons, who are coming off a powerful win against
St Kilda last week. This could be a scrap in the Northern Territory, with Melbourne and
Fremantle two of the better defensive sides in the AFL. The battle between Max Gawn and
the Dockers’ ruck duo of Luke Jackson and Sean Darcy will be one to watch out for. On their
day, Fremantle’s midfield can reasonably match up with the Demons’ stars of Gawn, Clayton
Oliver and Christian Petracca. The Dockers will be ruing not defeating injury-hit Collingwood
at home last week, having to settle for a draw instead.
TIP: Melbourne by 15 points, Kysaiah Pickett to kick three or more goals
