Friday night’s game promises to be a belter as the Knights host the Bulldogs in Newcastle. These two teams are closely matched in almost every department, so finding a bet here takes some digging.
The Knights are riding a four-game win streak and will be confident of making it five against Canterbury, who sit two points behind them in the standings. However, on closer inspection, three of those four wins came against sides in the bottom five. All four wins were also closely fought contests, as the largest winning margin in any of those games was six points.
With so little to choose between these, I’m going to sit on the fence in terms of who I think will pick up the victory. Instead, I’m going to look to the in-form Armstrong to get on the score sheet. He has scored four tries in his previous five games, including a hat trick last time out against the Titans.
