Geelong v GWS, GMHBA Stadium

These teams appeared to be heading for a grand final a month ago, but the Cats and the
Giants have both lost three matches in a row. Geelong have dealt with some injury absences
and stuck to resting their veterans. The defeat to Melbourne was understandable, but losses
to Port Adelaide (at home) and Gold Coast (a belting in Darwin) gave more reason to be
concerned. Geelong rarely drop milestone matches – especially at Kardinia Park – and they
will be determined to win for Tom Hawkins as he breaks Joel Selwood’s record for most
games played at the Cats.

TIP: Geelong by 13 points, Ollie Henry to kick two or more goals
